Our Company has an established track record of over 15 years in the food industry, specializing in the milling, processing, and supply of pulses, primarily urad dal and toor dal. We commenced operations in 2010 with a focus on milling urad dal and trading a diversified range of products including ... urad dal, toor dal, moong dal, kabuli channa, green gram dal, coriander seeds, rice, and chillies. This product diversification enabled us to serve a wider customer base, strengthen our presence in the pulses segment, and build industry experience across multiple categories. In the initial years, milling was carried out through manual processes for urad dal. In 2022, recognizing the increasing demand for urad dal, we transitioned to automation by installing advanced automatic machinery requiring minimal human intervention. This enhanced production efficiency, consistency, and quality assurance. In 2023, we further expanded our operations by introducing the milling of toor dal through a semi-manual process, blending traditional methods with selective mechanization to retain flexibility in operations. At present, we operate two dedicated milling facilities: • Automated unit for urad dal, equipped with advanced machinery and technology, delivering consistent and efficient large-scale production. • Semi-manual unit for toor dal, which combines traditional processing with mechanization to provide adaptability and controlled expansion capability This dual facility model provides us with the ability to balance scalability through automation with operational flexibility, thereby catering to both bulk institutional buyers and specialized demand segments. Our business model is predominantly business-to-business (B2B). We supply our processed pulses to large-format retailers, wholesalers, and e-commerce platforms, who subsequently serve the end consumers. This model enables us to maintain longterm institutional relationships, achieve bulk supply efficiencies, and benefit from consistent demand visibility. The food processing sector has become a key contributor to India's economy over the past few years, thanks to progressive ... policy measures by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI). The sector has performed exceptionally well with an impressive average annual growth rate of 7.3% from 2015 to 2022. It has significantly contributed to Gross Domestic Product (GDP), employment, and investment. As of 2024, it contributes around 8.80% and 8.39% of Gross Value Added (GVA) in Manufacturing and Agriculture respectively, 13% of India's exports and 6% of total industrial investment. GVA in Food Processing sector has increased from ? 1.61 lakh crore (US$ 24.60 billion) in 2015-16 to ? 1.92 lakh crore (US$ 24.43 billion) in 2022-23 (as per First Revised Estimates of Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation). India's diverse agro-climatic conditions allow for abundant production of cereals, pulses, fruits, and vegetables, making it a leading producer of various foods. India was a global leader in milk production contributing ~25% to global milk production, in 2023-24. The country ranked second in vegetables and fruits and egg production and fifth in meat production, respectively, in 2023-24. Additionally, India is the largest producer of spices in the world. India produced 11.80 million tonnes of major spices in FY24, as per the spices board of India. As of 2024, the Indian food and grocery market is the world's sixth largest, with retail contributing 70% of the sales. The Indian food processing industry accounts for 32% of the country's total food market, one of the largest industries in India and is ranked fifth in terms of production, consumption, export and expected growth. A strong food processing industry is essential for our nation to tackle food and nutritional security issues. Processed food offers convenience, extended shelf life, easy transport to remote areas, and improved accessibility, serving as a valuable source of nourishment.
