7PPL was incorporated as a private limited company on 24th August, 1981 and was subsequently converted into a Public Limited Company on 17th October, 1994. It started its Commercial Operations mainly in 1986 when it purchased a semi-constructed plot of land and constructed its factory at A-7, Industrial Estate, Partapur 250103 U.P duly approved by The District Industries Office, Govt. of U.P in an Government Approved District, Industrial Estate and duly transferred in its own name by the District Industries Department Govt of U.P., for the manufacture of Pharmaceutical Formulations.

PPL got its Drug Licences on 8th April, 1987 from the Drug Controller (U.P.) for the manufacture of Biological, Non-Biological and Microbiological preperations including Small Volume Injectibles, Opthalmic Eye Drops and Eye Ointments, Skin Ointments, Powders, Tablets, Capsules and Oral Syrups. It has a plant at present confirming to GMP standards (Good practices in manufacturing & quality control) under the Drug & Cosmetic Rules 1945 and a
certificate confirming the same is to be obtained shortly. At present PPL is engaged in the activity of marketing its formulations in collaboration with its associated companies all over Uttar Pradesh & Madhya Pradesh. PPL has also in the past been marketing its formulations in Punjab, J & K, Tamilnadu and Bihar.

The main approved products of Perk Pharmaceuticals Limited are specialised New Products, General and Life Saving Drugs comprising of Tablets, Capsules, Powders, Oral Liquids,
Injectibles, Opthalmic Drops and Ointments and Skin Ointments.

Out of these the company is presently manufacturing 32 Patent & Proprietory formulations and compositions. The following list of products are the important among them.

There has been capitalisation of Reserve by way of two Bonus issues from Revaluation Reserves in the year 93-94 and in the period 01.04.94 to 20.10.94. The details of which are mentioned elsewhere in the propsectus and also under the Head "CAPITALISATION OF RESERVES OR PROFITS''

2012

-Company has appointed Mr. B. S. Sridhara as the Managing Director

-Gokhatak Enterprises Ltd (GEL) a 100% subsidiary of the Company with the PHIL Corporation Ltd.
