The Company was incorporated as Shri Ram Switchgears Private Limited under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 vide certificate of incorporation dated September 06, 1985 in Madhya Pradesh. Subsequently, the name of the company was changed to Shri Ram Switchgears Limited pursuant to conversion into a public company vide shareholderÂs approval dated December 14, 2016 and fresh certificate of incorporation dated January 03, 2017. The registered office of the company is situated at Shri Ram Bhawan, Goushala Road, Ratlam, Madhya Pradesh Â 457001.

-Commenced Operations for manufacturing of Distribution Boxes

1994

-Executed first major order worth Rs. 2.12 Crores to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited for supplying Distribution Boxes

1999

-Commenced manufacturing Transformers of 25 KVA

2005

-Delivered 1,000 Transformers of 25 KVA capacity to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited

2011

-Delivered the CompanyÂs first Transformer of 5 MVA to M.P. Poorv Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Co. Ltd.

2015

-Accredited with ISO 9001:2008 certification

2017

-The Company got elected as member in general category by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) for its State Council of Madhya Pradesh for the year 2017-18
