SS Retail Ltd. Company History and Annual Growth Details

Our Company was originally incorporated as ‘SS Communication & Services Private Limited’, at Kolhapur, Maharashtra as a private limited company under the provisions of Companies Act, 2013 and received a certificate of incorporation issued by the RoC, Central Registration Centre on June 14, 2016. Subsequently, the name of our Company was changed to ‘SS Retail Private Limited’ pursuant to a resolution passed by our Board of Directors in their meeting held on April 10, 2025, and a special resolution passed by the shareholders of our Company on May 29, 2025, and a fresh certificate of incorporation issued by the RoC, Central Processing Centre on July 15, 2025. Thereafter, our Company was converted into a public limited company pursuant to a resolution passed by our Board of Directors in their meeting held on August 29, 2025, and a special resolution passed by the shareholders of our Company on September 04, 2025, and the name of our Company was changed to its present name ‘SS Retail Limited’, pursuant to a fresh certificate of incorporation issued by the RoC, Central Processing Centre on September 26, 2025.

2018

- Acquired inventory of mobile phones, accessories and other electronic items (i.e., televisions, laptops and tablets), from the stores operated by S.S. Communication & Services (sole proprietorship firm of Siddharth Gunvant Shah)

2019

- Expanded our operations from Maharashtra to Goa

2023

- Started our ‘Mobile Exchange Wala’ brand.

- Started our ‘The Mobile Space’ brand.

2024

- Crossed total revenue from operations of ? 10,000.00 million.

2025

- Opened 55 Stores in 55 Days.

- Established our first store in Karnataka.

- Established our first store in Madhya Pradesh.

- Received “A2+” Short Term Rating and “A-/Stable” Long Term Rating from CRISIL.

- Opened over 110 stores during the Fiscal, net of closures, bringing the total store count to 347 as of March 31, 2025.

2026

- Change of the name of our Company from SS Retail Private Limited to SS Retail Limited pursuant to conversion of our Company into a public company.

- Acquired “GIZMORE” brand pursuant to a brand acquisition agreement.

- Crossed 500 stores under operations

- Acquired 51.04% shareholding of Olineo and with effect from January 27, 2026, Olineo has become our Subsidiary.

2027

- Established our first store in Gujarat.
