The company was incorporated on 27th September 1983.

It was promoted by standard organics Ltd & C.C. Reddy & associates.

The main objects of the company is to carry on the business of finance investment and trading of finance investment and trading, hire pruchase & leasing manufacture of bulf drug & Pharmaceuticals & also running of Diagnostic centres.

The merger of AGIPI Chemicals Ltd with this company has been competed & the bulf drug unit now mtg cloxacilin sodium also in addition to Amoxycillin, Ampicillin & Cephalexin. The company is also running Diagnostc centres at Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore & Calcutta under the name "Medinova Diagnostic services.

During 1986 the company took over AGIPI Chem. Ltd., a bulk drug manufacturing unit located at Bidar, Karnataka for manufacture of Cephalexin. AGIPI became a subsidary & commercial production of cephalexin cost of Rs 1.5 crores was commecned in December 1986.
