With the inherent philosophy of creating spaces that bring heartfelt joy, five decades ago, in the year 1965, Sterling Group started realizing people’s dreams by developing realty that truly brought peace of mind to them. The firm was founded by Mr B. Kumar, a civil engineer, having extensive experience in developing major infrastructure projects for the Central Government. He worked on the design and construction of river valley projects, bridges, industrial buildings, plotted developments etc. He was also the founding president of Ahmedabad’s oldest and most reputed Club - The Rajpath Club. Established as a partnership firm, the company was converted into a public limited entity in 1992 with a paid up capital of 4.46 cr. The Group is managed by a board comprising eminent & qualified engineers, architects and management experts. In the last 50 yrs the Group has achieved trail blazing success in completing over 50 projects that include multi-storeyed apartments, commercial centers, plotted developments, clubs and resort. The Group also promoted, designed & constructed Ahmedabad city’s first corporate Multi-specialty hospital. The Group commands high reputation & trust in the field of real estate, clubs, and hospitality. Many of its projects are considered landmarks in the city of Ahmedabad viz: The Sunrise Park Township, Sterling Multi-specialty Hospital, Greenwoods Club & Lake Resort. The Group recently celebrated its golden jubilee year in the year 2015.
