Gujarat Inject (Kerala) Limited (GIKL) was incorporated on 7th January, 1991 and obtained Certificate for Commencement of Business on 14th February, 1991. The Company has been jointly promoted by the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation Limited(KSIDC), a wholly owned subsidiary of Government of Kerala Undertaking and Gujarat Inject Limited (GIL) and its associates. GIL is a profit making dividend paying company. The Company has received SIA Registration to manufacture intravenous solutions at Puddussey East, Kanjikode, in Palghat District in Kerala.

b) MAIN OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY

The main object of the Company as set out fully in the Memorandum of Association of the Company are to produce, manufacture, buy, sell, import, export, stock, distribute and deal in all kinds of pharmaceuticals products including bulk drugs and formulation chemicals, medicinal preparation,intravenous fluids, infusion and transfusion solutions, vitamin and non vitamin tablets, capsules, liquids and also medical equipments/instruments such as disposable plastic bottles, surgical sets, infusion and transfusion sets, disposable syringes diagnostic kits. The immediate object of the Company is to set up a project for manufacture of intravenous (IV)
Fluids solutions in aspectic bottles. Gujarat Inject (Kerala) Limited (GIKL) is promoted in the joint
sector by Gujarat Inject Limited (GIL), Baroda and its associates along with the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation Limited (KSIDC) a wholly owned subsidiary of the
Government of Kerala.
