| Rock Hard Petro Chemical Industries Ltd. was incorporated on 21.09.1974 as a Private Limited Company in Madhya Pradesh. It was subsequently converted into a Public Limited Company on 19.07.1990 and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation was obtained. The Company is in the business of manufacture of Formaldehyde. The Company had initially established its manufacturing land at Indore with a capacity to manufacture 3000 TPA of Formaldehyde. It was in operation during the period 1982-84. In early 1985, subsequent to the Bhopal gas tragedy the Company's plant was ordered to be closed down by the Madhya Pradesh Government due to environmental and pollution control reasons as it was located close to a crowded residential area. The Company's new industrial undertaking was established Village Kundla The. Agar in Shajapur District., Madhya Pradesh a 'C' category backward area. The Company availed Term Loan aggregating Rs.185.00 lacs from Madhya Pradesh Financial Corporation, Madhya Pradesh Audyogik Vikas Nigam Limited (MPAVN) Rs.80.00 lacs. and Allahabad Bank Rs.40.00 lacs, for setting up the Unit. It also came out with a Public Issue of 1800000 Equity Shares of Rs.10/- each at par aggregating to Rs.180.00 lacs in 1991 and retained oversubscription to the tune of Rs.45.00 lacs. The Company has also obtained acknowledgement from the Secretariat for Industrial Approvals for production of Hexamine, D.N.P.M.T., PF/Resins and A.D.C from the Ministry of Industry, Govt. of India. |
